We have been on the translation services market since 1994, so it’s impossible to talk about all of our projects, but we’re proud of virtually all of them. We are continuing to translate projects related to GOST, SNIP, and other regulatory documents. Our company has acquired unique experience in accomplishing large, long-term projects of up to several thousand pages. We’ve carried out a number of major translation projects involving GOST, SNIP and other regulatory documents. To carry out these projects, we had to compile our own dictionaries of technical terms and hire the best translators and editors in Moscow. As a result, we have an extensive library of bilingual standards. Our translations of Russian standards have received a high rating on the London Stock Exchange.
We have had projects from Norway, America, Germany, England, and Italy. We have translated texts on the Caspian Pipeline and are continuing productive cooperation with Spain, Italy, and other European countries. We also work with clients from various countries of the world, which makes for quite an interesting sphere of activities. We take a creative approach to orders, sometimes applying unconventional solutions that above all are focused on quality of work performance.

Our bureau offers translation services for written texts of any complexity that use specific terminology and nonstandard vocabulary.
Translation subjects: technical texts, including such topics as construction, gas and other pipelines, electricity, energy resources, geology, fire safety, business, HR management, tourism, marketing, advertising, finance, law, telecommunications, information technologies, medicine, chemistry, oil and gas, and other fields of science and technology.
At your request, a written translation into English can be done by a native speaker, i.e., a person for whom the target language is his or her native language. This option ensures that the translated text is stylistically correct, and we recommend that you make use of this service without fail for translating texts aimed a wide audience, for example, advertising brochures, websites, presentations, international press releases and publications, etc.
Editing
Our translation prices include editing and proofreading. We also provide these kinds of work as separate services. To edit your text, we choose the right specialist with the necessary knowledge of the terminology and style used in a given field. A native speaker will edit texts translated into foreign languages.
Consecutive interpretation
Consecutive interpretation is one form of oral translation. A consecutive interpreter translates stepwise after the speaker (by sentences or contextual blocks).
Consecutive interpretation has a number of advantages compared to simultaneous interpretation:
• consecutive interpretation costs less than simultaneous interpretation;
• it is possible to work with only one consecutive interpreter (a least two specialists are an absolute must for simultaneous interpretation);
• no special equipment is needed;
• translation can be done anywhere, on the street, while moving, etc.
The following are the most typical situations where consecutive interpretation services are needed:
- holding negotiations, including by telephone;
- holding seminars, meetings, round tables and other business events;
- holding briefings, press conferences, presentations, receptions, holiday events;
- assistance in quick translation of written documents that do not need full translation but only an understanding of the meaning;
- equipment installation supervision and setup involving a foreign specialist;
- providing translation at an exhibition stand;
- participation of an interpreter in a court sitting or court examinations, signing notarized documents that must be read aloud in such cases, and other legal procedures;
- conducting tours around Moscow and surrounding areas for your foreign guests;
We always try to choose an interpreter as quickly as possible, but the time spent in searching for an interpreter very strongly depends on the subject of translation and the format, venue and duration of the event. This is why we urge you to:
Place an order for consecutive interpretation well in advance. The earlier you send us your order, the more time and opportunities we will have to choose the best interpreter for you.
In addition, advance provision of text materials on the event topic is desirable, since this will allow the interpreter to be better prepared for the event, to “plunge into the topic”, and to perform at a high professional level.
Simultaneous interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation is done simultaneously with the speaker. As a rule, simultaneous interpretation is used at conferences, seminars, and other events with a large number of participants and implies the availability of special equipment for both the interpreters (a specially equipped booth) and event participants (headphones).
Simultaneous interpretation is used during large-scale events to translate information into several languages simultaneously and to save time.
Verification of translations with the Translation Bureau’s seal
A written translation may be verified with the Translation Bureau’s seal at the customer’s request. In some cases, notarization of a translation is not required and verification with the translation bureau’s seal is sufficient. We advise you to clarify whether notarization of the translated documents is required or whether verification of the translator’s signature with our bureau’s seal will suffice. A translation bureau’s seal is also sufficient in some cases where documents are not subject to notarization (copy of customs documents, waybills, etc.).
Notarized translation
Translation and notarization of a document are performed by a professional translator whose qualifications are confirmed by the appropriate document. Under Article 81 of the Foundations of Legislation on Notaries, the signature of the translator of a document shall be certified by a notary as authentic.
Notarized translation is required for documents issued outside the Russian Federation. This procedure makes it valid on Russian territory. A feature of a notarized translation is that it renders the information of the original document verbatim. If the document was issued in the Russian Federation and must by submitted abroad, procedures such as apostillization and consular legalization are required.
A notarized translation may not be made for every document – a notary certifies only those documents that conform fully to Russian Federation requirements. A document that does not conform to the requirements of current legislation may not be notarized; however, such documents may be verified independently with the translation bureau’s seal.
Filing the original (a copy is possible) of the document from which the translation was made is obligatory for a notarized translation.
Legalization and Apostille
Apostille and legalization is a fundamental procedure for presenting documents in foreign authorities. This procedure includes a written translation and certification in the appropriate institutions, embassy or consulate.
Document legalization may be executed by two methods depending on the country of destination: Apostille of documents (for countries of the Hague Convention) or consular legalization (for countries that are not signatories to the Hague Convention). Following this procedure, the document is valid on the territory of a specific county or group of countries and is recognized by all of its official bodies, as well as institutions of this country located outside its borders.
Apostille is the name of a special stamp used to certify official documents of organizations, institutions, and enterprises of the Russian Federation, which has been a member of the Hague Convention since May 31, 1992. A document Apostille does not require additional confirmation and certification and is valid in all of the Convention’s member countries. As a rule, apostillization takes from 5 to 10 business days. An Apostille is not attached to business correspondence, bank documents (statements, accounts, payment information), or customs and commercial documents.
Consular legalization of documents involves three stages. First, the document is certified in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, then in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RF, and finally in the consulate of the country of destination. In so doing, the document acquires the unique mark of this country’s consulate and thus will be valid only on its territory.
Legalization of documents in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF) pertains to documents that are not subject to apostillization or consular legalization: commercial documents and documents of title, as well as other documents relating to foreign economic activities. However, before subjecting them to this legalization procedure in the CCI RF, it is better to confirm the legalization method with the party for which they are intended. There are also a number of documents that when being drawn up require legalization specifically in the CCI RF according to the requirements of a specific country. This procedure involves two stages: certification of the document in the CCI RF and then in the consulate of the country of destination.
